As the Marketing Growth Operations Analyst, you will report directly to the Director of Analytics and be responsible for driving insights to inform key business decisions. Your mission is to bring global operational excellence to Zuora’s growth function from lead generation to pipeline creation. The Growth Operations team is responsible for delivering the operational foundation for our GTM, from top of funnel lead generation to pipeline creation and handoff to sales.

You will work closely with Marketing Leadership, Sales Operations, IT, and Finance teams to support global Marketing as well as the cross-functional Global GTM Team. You will partner closely with the Demand Gen and BDR teams to provide insights to improve pipeline velocity and conversion rates based on data and analytics.

You will oversee a global team of marketing operations and campaign execution resources. You will also work directly with external vendors, agencies and consultants to design, develop and maintain a world-class marketing engine, infrastructure and process.

What You Will Do

  • Drive the pipeline reporting that supports our global marketing team
  • Develop appropriate recommendations based on data analysis (e.g. why Lead quantity/quality is going up/down, volume spikes, etc.)
  • Build and own performance-based reports to ensure key stakeholders have access to accurate and timely information at varying levels of granularity.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to dig into performance and answer marketing related questions for key stakeholders
  • Help support creation of measurement framework to assist with spend allocation decisions, campaign execution, and internal storytelling.
  • Develop and manage the budget tracking document for the Marketing team
  • Support the development of a repository and single source of truth for marketing analytics information including templates, planning inputs, and reports/dashboards

Desired Competencies And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related discipline required
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in B2B marketing operations, with a depth of experience in enterprise SaaS.
  • Experience is managing a marketing budget with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience writing new SQL queries
  • Experience using tools such as Looker, Domo, Tableau, or any other BI tool..
  • Understanding of Salesforce and Marketo.
  • Intermediate Excel/Google Sheets experience (Vlookups, Pivots, etc)
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong quantitative skills including the ability to analyze and interpret data, with accuracy
  • Ability to quickly respond to requested changes and identify process improvements
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, work independently, and be able to chart direction of projects
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, while being team-focused
