Our Information Technology (IT) team is Zuora's internal engineering organization, responsible for creating technology experiences that connect our teams, drive business alignment and build a stronger, more collaborative work “place.” With a cloud-first approach, we empower our global ZEOs with increased productivity and self-service to enable company growth, scale and flexibility while hardening our security and compliance posture.


Plan and manage resources, finances, scope and services for functional IT projects delivering business results. Provide IT products, services and solutions on time, within budget and with the required functionality. Establish, maintain and enhance relationships with business customers. Participate in developing and implementing project governance and management best practices for the company.  Manage large-scale projects of high complexity, size and change management risk.


  • Facilitate in leading planning meetings, reviews and retrospectives, ensure accurate estimates for each project phase. 
  • Ensure the business benefits of the project are clearly understood and the project team establishes appropriate measures of success.
  • Manage the review of alternative solutions, working with enterprise architecture and product owners and ensure trade offs are documented and agreed upon.
  • Organize the documentation of use cases, process development, technical design and development work queue, schedule releases and manage risks and issues associated with projects
  • Set customer expectations and provide feedback
  • Conduct planning sessions with customers and the ability to build road maps for projects
  • Provide effective reporting on projects status, timelines, issues and risks
  • Provide project metrics
  • Manage the software development life cycle (SDLC) from start to finish (design, development, build, test, deployment, and hypercare.)
  • Establish best practices, templates and methodology for program and project management.
  • Mentor team members as needed on project management best practices


  • Experience managing application deployment and change projects based on major SaaS platforms such as Salesforce, NetSuite and Workday.  Experienced running software development projects integrated within a complex SaaS landscape. 
  • Have managed enterprise stakeholders and successful in resolving conflicting requirements between stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working directly with business executives
  • Certified PMP professional, or equivalent.  
  • Relationship management experience; creating, maintaining and/or enhancing stakeholder relationships 
  • Experience in managing IT projects across large enterprises
  • Experience working with project teams across the whole SDLC
