THE TEAM

Our Finance Operations team provides strategic and operational support to everyone at Zuora. We are responsible for Global Procurement, Sales Compensation, Payroll and the Monthly Close Process. Our Accounting team is a group data driven experts who provide instrumental support to our ZEOs globally. We pride ourselves on our ability to work well together and cross functionally to build out systems and processes that allow us to achieve strict deadlines while maintaining flexibility and work-life balance. And we really enjoy spending time together as a team both in and outside of the office!

WHAT YOU’LL ACHIEVE

  • Perform full-cycle Accounts Payable, including validating charge, 2-way matching, review invoices for appropriate documentation, obtain approval, verify proper GL coding and weekly payment runs.
  • Manage and monitor AP email box to ensure timely processing of invoices.
  • Maintain vendor profiles for creations and changes by working with Procurement and BT teams.
  • Review and process employee expense reports. Validate receipts for accuracy, ensure compliant with company policy, and verify appropriate GL account.
  • Respond to vendor or employee inquiries to resolve payment processing issues, discrepancies, or any other related transitions in a timely manner.
  • Assist in month/quarter-end closing activities, prepare monthly A/P accruals, re-class of GL entries.
  • Record bank daily transfer or other cash related activities.
  • Assist with processing year-end 1099 statements for applicable vendors.
  • Assist in SOX compliance and quarter/year-end financial audit requests.
  • Assist with Ad-hoc projects as needed.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Minimum of 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience
  • Past US industry experience and US GAAP knowledge preferred
  • Proficiency with NetSuite, Coupa, or Concur is a plus, but not required
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in accounting or related field
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage priorities and deadlines
  • Efficient with Microsoft Office and general technical savviness
  • Demonstrated great communication skills and customer service orientation mindset
